Our recent cooler weather has prompted me to retrain for the PSRT since the drought & heat have stomped my bicycling hard except for a few neighborhood rides. Earlier this week, I did two paved 15-milers behind the house not far from Holliday Drive. My breathing is terrible; had too much junk and sugary food this summer.

Yesterday I did the paved Gary L Haller (aka Mill Creek) trail round-trip from the house (47-miles). I struggled with its hills. But saw small improvements in my riding, probably because it was cool and drizzly outside. I’ll do a few more hilly training rides plus a round-trip to Tongie and back (57-miles) before hitting the PSRT before long. Looking forward to doing it and one of its cafes..weather permitting. 🙂
