Iola Adds New Trail Connection with King of Trails Bridge

A new piece of trail infrastructure has been installed in Iola. The King of Trails Bridge connects downtown Iola to amenities on the south side of Elm Creek, including the Lehigh Portland Trails, the Southwind Rail Trail, South Elm Creek Park, and businesses such as Gates Manufacturing.

The new bridge’s ribbon cutting was held on May 5th. Read more from Bike Allen County: The King of Trails Bridge is Open!

The King of Trails Bridge adds another important trail connection to Allen County’s award-winning trail network, which offers more than 25 miles of trails, including rail-trails, city trails, and singletrack trails.
