The City of Iola has completed repairs on two portions of the Prairie Spirit Trail within the city.
Trail water and restroom facilities are being shut down for the winter, but that’s no reason to stop riding!
Prairie Spirit Trail restrooms and water at the trailheads are opening by April 15th.
With the oncoming winter, restrooms and water sources are being shut down, so be sure to carry enough water on your winter trail rides!
New interpretive signs have been added to rest stops along the Prairie Spirit Trail, describing interesting plants and animals to be found along the trail.
The Lehigh Portland Trails are now officially open in Iola, with a unique mixture of wide gravel trails and narrow singletrack trails, over 7.5 miles in total.
