One of the great things about the Prairie Spirit Trail is that it runs through the prairie, and prairies are alive with blooms, especially at this time of the year.

Some of these are very large and showy, while other are more subtle. Keep on the lookout, and be prepared to stop and examine flowers in more detail. You will be amazed by what you can see if you just take the time to look closely.
The blooms are also an excellent place to spot insects, bees, butterfly, and hummingbirds!
